Rockhill Microfinance Limited (RHML) is a financial services institution that started operations in 2018 at Lumu zone Luwero town council Luwero district 63 kilometers off Kampala city along Kampala Gulu Road highway with the overall aim of providing all round microfinance services to the economically active people and especially those who are not served by formal banks.  Rockhill Microfinance Limited was registered as a microfinance company under the Company’s Act (2012) on 01st June 2018 operating under Tier 4 Microfinance institution and Money Lenders Act (2016) that came into force in July 2017 and now we are regulated and licensed by the Uganda Microfinance Regulatory Authority (UMRA) and we pride ourselves in the membership with the Association of Microfinance Institutions in Uganda (AMFIU). Rockhill Microfinance Limited over the period has registered remarkable success in both financial and social performance and cumulatively has impacted over 343 clients and over 182 active loan clients by September 2023.

Our aim is to pursue and unlock the vast potential that lies in the businesses, i.e. Boda bodas, Assets financing, SMEs and Agriculture within the agricultural sector using the value chain financing approach. As we do this, the ripple effect will be the growth of economic generating activities in terms of knowledge, financial empowerment, quality produce and tangible wealth. As a fully licensed and regulated institution our services although primarily focus on the youth, women in business and agricultural sector our ultimate mission is  targeted to all businesses that fall within the description of small and micro enterprises.

 The products we offer enable our client to improve their financial and wealth status. We aim at the productivity of the client to enable them achieve their full potential which has hitherto been elusive due to the perceived risky nature of providing financial services to the Micro, Small and Medium Businesses sector and more so the agricultural sector , women and youth.

We achieve this by emphasizing the immense benefits of empowering the client through a discipline of consistent and deliberate savings and loan repayment model to achieve both short term and long term goals, but besides that, we are fully answerable to our valued clients, funders and other industrial partners. We ensure there is efficiency in service delivery.  Also, as an organization we take transparency in all our dealings with both clients and partners as a strategic matter. This has earned us the confidence of the local communities we serve and opened us up to great opportunities of reaching out to more of the unbanked that are formally excluded.
